Date Night + #OOTD

Last night was "date night" for everyone in the Manzi household. J and I went to Red Robin (Holly tagged along because why not?) so my Dad and his girlfriend could have dinner together. It was a nice little surprise for the middle of the week, and a good way to get our minds off the busy and stressful day we had.

For the record, I wanted Panera Bread for dinner - but I was sadly outvoted. I got my usual Whiskey River BBQ Chicken Wrap, so I still enjoyed the meal. Normally I'm not a big fan of wraps, but I'd take this over a burger any day.

We also did some shopping before and after dinner. We stopped by the Tannersville crossings and went into Forever 21. Their I found the holy grail of nail polishes (don't worry - a review will be up next week). I'm trying to find ways to be savvy with my money, and splurging on fake nails just isn't in my budget right now.

Then we went to Ulta, where I found NYX skinny marker eye liner, and NYX fnishing powder. I just ran out of my Covergirl powder, so I'm hoping this one works just as well. I'm an Ulta rewards member, so I got $3.00 off my purchase - you guys should look into the program. It's free and easy to use!

Overall I had a great evening with J and Holly. surprise date nights are always fun, especially when you're used to eating in all the time. Do any of you have a designated date night with your partner? What is your favorite thing to do together?
