Monday Motivation: My Online Inspiration Board

On this lovely Monday I'm back in North Carolina and preparing for my trip to Florida. I'm stoked about the vacation this week, but as August gets closer I'm getting more excited about work related things. For example, I'm loving the different office related outfits on Pinterest, and researching different ways to organize my work space. Kate spade office supplies are definitely my biggest inspiration because of their bright colors and chic design.

Pinterest has always been a fabulous way for me to find inspiration. I love scrolling through boards and adding things to my own - my own personal favorites are my Fashionista and Wedding Day board. But I've wanted to expand beyond Pinterest and start creating an inspiration board with multiple 'pins', so I can see my inspiration as a whole. I found Real Time Board last week and really liked working with it. It allowed me to add text, lines, pins, etc etc. I decided to create a little 'work' inspiration board with it;
My favorite part of this board is the middle outfit. I love the feminine look plus a tie. I've never tried this look before but I'm really wanting too! It's still cute and professional, but has an awesome twist to it. I also really like the Day Designer planner in the bottom left corner. I purchased my own in black last week and have been glued to its pages since. Be on the lookout for a planner organization post soon!

Then I moved over to the famous Polyvore. I've never used this before last week, but I'm now addicted to the "create" button. I feel like I'm playing with paper dolls when I create outfits and it's so fun to plan a look from head to toe. I decided to channel my inner fashion blogger and created a daytime blogger look + a nighttime blogger look.

The nighttime look focuses on my love for white details. It's a great look for July with red, white, and blue. As a blogger, I always have my phone on me to jot down ideas for posts and snap a pic for social media. The navy dress features a higher neck and is sleeveless, perfect for summer date nights!

The daytime blogger look captures my love for black casual. Boyfriend jeans are to die for right now, so I paired it with a cute casual top and some brighter jewelry. I decided a leather backpack would be better than a tote bag, because its easier to carry, is great for college classes, and can hold my planner, laptop, and current novel I'm reading. The shoes are my favorite part of the look, and they're making me want to go out and purchase some in every color.
